Stephen Downes has posted his recent talk on blogging and RSS in education. He has the PPT and audio posted at http://www.downes.ca/cgi-bin/website/research.cgi?item=1103322625
I hope to look more closely at when I have more time. The PPT provides a nice distillation of the major points involved.
He also comments that Jenny Levine is hinting at some big things coming for libraries and RSS in 2005. In addition, he points to an article about creating your own educational non-commerical blog.
Wow, he’s full of info this weekend. He also mentions BlogMeister which provides blogs for educators with editorial control over student posts. This makes blogs more palatable to the K-12 realm.
