Can a ‘writing across the curriculum’ model be applied to technology across the curriculum.
In reading this article, I was first surprised they had the link to Information Fluency wrong. But seriously, it made me think about how even though students are immersed in technology they aren’t deeply immersed in it. They know how to do the things they do but may not be able to translate that to new situations, or abstract the concepts involved in the task. This seems like a good partnership opportunity with the library to build on the information literacy work.
